William "Bill" DeGregoriis, age 63, of Claymont. Delaware, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015.

Bill was born in Wilmington, DE on February 10, 1952 to the late William and Rita (Pecorio) DeGregoriis, Bill was a loving father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, friend and husband. He worked for DP&L for almost 40 years. Bill graduated from Salesianum High School and the University of Delaware. He was a gifted athlete playing baseball and football for his schools, and was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies Fan. He was also a baseball coach for the Claymont Little League for his son's teams. Bill loved music and enjoyed playing his favorite songs on guitar for his family. He loved taking his family to Wildwood, NJ every summer for vacation. He will be greatly missed by all of those who were lucky to know and love him.

He is survived, and missed by his beloved wife, Eileen Grandell DeGregoriis, and son, Stephen, his brother, Emil DeGregoriis (Gail), nieces, Kelly Teresa Grandell, Adrien Padovani, and Neela DeGregoriis, nephews, Charles Anderson, Daniel Matta, Edward Quinn, Alfred Grandell Jr., his best friend of many years, Alan Cutler, and numerous friends and family.

Friends may visit with the family at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
