Paul L. Voss, Sr., of Wilmington, DE, died March 26, 2015 at the age of 82.

Born in 1932, he was the son of the late Earl and Myrtle Voss. Mr. Voss graduated from Claymont High School, Class of 1950, and went on to work at Sun Oil Company from 1950, until retirement in 1990. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served his country from December 1952 to December 1954. He was a member of Hall Burke in Holly Oak, the Brandywine Club, the Moose Club, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion in Claymont, where he had many friends. He enjoyed 41 years vacationing at Buttonwood Beach.

Mr. Voss is survived by his wife of 61 years, Maryella (Williams) Voss; his children, Paul L. Voss, Jr. (Dawn), Michael Voss and Michele DeJohn; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his brother, Earl Voss, Jr. (Peg); and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the family Thursday evening, April 2, 2015 from 7-9pm at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. A funeral service will be 10am at the funeral home, Friday morning, April 3, 2015. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
